In this modern world of Science and Technology an Engineering student should study the subjects on pure Engineering along with subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Management and Humanities. Mathematics is a basic tool for acquiring any knowledge in a systematic manner. It is aptly remarked that Mathematics is a Science of all Sciences and art of all arts.
Applied science is a bridge that connects pure, basic science like physics and chemistry with engineering practices. Faculty and students in applied science employ fundamental physical and chemical principles to create innovative new technologies. These novel solutions are then handed off to engineering disciplines to be refined, enhanced and used to address important societal problems.
The Department has well experienced faculty, skilled technical staff and well equipped laboratories, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are of great importance to students in practice of engineering in their later life.
To provide socially committed professionals excellent in application of scientific and mathematical
knowledge thus to underline their presence in the field.
Our Mission is to make the students familiar with the scientific and mathematical concepts and
communication skills by orienting themselves with these subjects so as to develop professional
approach and application for acquiring competence and to showcase excellence in creating
innovative and practical engineering solutions to the problems in society.
